The Sharks have been drawn in Waiheke Pool alongside the Gold Coast Titans, Penrith Panthers and Canterbury Bulldogs for the 2017 NRL Auckland Nines.

After a strong showing early in the 2016 competition, the Sharks were unable to make the finals bowing out after the Pool matches.

With quality opposition in the Titans, Panthers and Bulldogs, the Sharks will face a series of tough tests to reach the business end of the competition.

The Club is set to play a trial match against the Brisbane Broncos on the 4th of February against the Brisbane Broncos in Redcliffe so stay tuned to sharks.com.au for team announcements closer to the date.

The Downer Auckland Nines will be played over the weekend of February 4-5.
