The Sharks are set to kick off their 2017 season in a trial match against the Brisbane Broncos at the newly re-developed Dolphin Stadium in Redcliffe next year.
To be played on Saturday, February 4, the same weekend as the Auckland 9’s, the match will be the Sharks only 13-a-side hit out before they head across to the UK to take on the Wigan Warriors in the World Club Series.
The Sharks top liners not involved in New Zealand are likely to participate in the trial match at Redcliffe.
Tickets for the trial match will go on sale in early December. Stay tuned to the Sharks website for details when they become available.
The Sharks other pre-season commitments include the NRL Nines in New Zealand on the weekend of February 4 and the World Club Series clash with the Super League champions the Wigan Warriors on Sunday, February 19 at the DW Stadium in Wigan.
