50 years. Half a century is a long time to be as one.
It’s a long time to inspire people. It’s a long time to taste defeat. And, it’s a long time to wait for glory.
Our Club has experienced these ups and downs of the past to find ourselves where we are today.
Standing tall as NRL Premiers, moving into our 50th year.
Has the road been easy? No. Has the road been simple? No. Has the road taught us about who we are and who drives us? Indeed.
2017 will be a celebration of all of the wonderful people who have taken our great Club to where we are today. A celebration of those who have played a part in weaving the rich tapestry that is our Club; the Cronulla-Sutherland Rugby League Club.
We will be representing our great region of the Cronulla Sutherland Shire in 2017 however we will be doing much more than that.
We will be pulling our jerseys on for those who stood by us in the tough times, those who made the trip to Endeavour Field in the past and those who live too far to experience our matches week in week out yet scream at the top of their lungs all the same.
In 2017, we do this for you.
