Consisting of a brioche bun, Angus beef meat pattie, McDonald’s cheese, rasher bacon, pineapple, BBQ sauce and grilled onions, the 'Mick Ennis' burger is coming to local Sutherland Shire Maccas stores later this week.

An idea dreamt up by Nova breakfast show personalities Fitzy and Wippa, the 'Mick Ennis' burger was unveiled at Cronulla Mall earlier today with a large contingent of Sharks fans turning up to celebrate the moment.

There were also Nova giveaways, a Sharknado cash grab machine giving fans the opportunity to win cash prizes, while Ennis commentated all the action and activity live to the Fitzy and Wippa Breakfast Show.

Seven stores in the Sutherland Shire have agreed to create the burger which will be on sale from this weekend, through until the Grand Final, with MacDonald’s agreeing to donate $1 from every burger sold to Ronald McDonald House.

The seven stores include Caringbah, Engadine, Heathcote, Kirrawee, Menai, Sylvania and Taren Point.

One lucky Sharks fan also walked away with over $1,000 courtesy of Nova 96.9 and the Fitzy and Wippa Show.

Sharks TV was on hand to capture some of the morning's action.
