Ruan Sims and Lyall Gorman spoke with Sharks TV today about Southern Cross Group Stadium playing host to the 2017 Women's Rugby League World Cup pool matches.

Sims, captain of the Sharks' Women's 9s side, said that people of the Shire are "hungry" for quality women's rugby league and the World Cup would offer just that.

Gorman echoed Sims' sentiments saying that the fact that Southern Cross Group Stadium was playing host to an event was testiment to the inclusive nature of the Club and it's goal of creating quality female role models in the community.

Watch the full interview and wrap of the event playing now on Sharks TV.
