Sharks Captain Paul Gallen was on hand at the launch of the 2016 #NRLFinals series, alongside his seven counterparts from the rival clubs who form the remainder of the competition's 'top 8'.

Be in Canberra to see the #NRLFinals

With all eyes on a week one finals fixture against the Raiders in Canberra, Gallen said the Sharks have put aside the disappointment of the side's Round 26 loss to the Storm, ahead of what promises to be an exhilarating contest in the Nation's Capital.

"It will be (an enthralling, attacking contest) ... but I think whoever defends the best will win," Gallen said.

"The emotion runs high, but it only lasts 5-10 minutes. When the times are tough when you're in that 30-40th minute period on the first half, and the 70-80th minute in the second half.

"But I don't think (playing in Canberra) is going to matter too much. Obviously it would have been nicer for the fans (to play at Allianz Stadium), but we'll go down there and hopefully get the win."
