Competition - NYC Premiership

Round - Round 02

Teams – Cronulla Sharks v St George Illawarra Dragons

Date – 13th or March 2016

Venue – Sharp Park, Cronulla Sydney NSW

Photographer – Grant Trouville

Description –

A loss last week at the hands of the Raiders means a win for the Sharks NYC side is all but essential, heading into the competition’s final four rounds.

Sitting 7th on the NYC table – just one-point clear of the Raiders in 8th –  John Morris’ men will take on a Dragons side that boasts a 6 wins, 3 losses record at home this season.

The Dragons themselves though will front the Sharks on the back of a last-start loss to the Broncos, going down 16-12 in testing conditions versus the Broncos last weekend.

In Sharks team news, Morris has been able to maintain some consistency with his team, limiting the changes for the Dragons game.

Highly rated back rower Jayden Walker should be better with two games under his belt after a long layoff, while impact player Jesse Savage returns on the interchange bench following two matches out due to injury.

The Sharks v Dragons NYC match is scheduled for a 5.15pm kick off at Jubilee Oval on Saturday.
