Tasting Origin success for the first time in the Blues' 18-14 win over Queensland in Game III, Jack Bird spoke with NRL films post-match and wrapped the occasion that was.
"It's unbelievable ... I thought (NSW) were quite unlucky to lose in Game I, it's just good to get the win (on Wednesday night)," Bird said.
"I think it's a good stepping stone for next year, and a real positive sign."
Bird also spoke of the good feeling amongst the Blues squad, having been able to send off long-time Captain - and Sharks team mate - Paul Gallen with a win in his last Origin match.
