While hopeful to see the Club’s five Origin stars return to Sharks duties on Thursday free of injury, Shane Flanagan has named his side to take on the Roosters this coming Monday night.

The side is expecting to welcome back Club Captain Paul Gallen, Wade Graham, Jack Bird, Andrew Fifita and James Maloney, for the Roosters clash following Wednesday night’s Origin Game III.
Maloney will return to his familiar ‘6’ jersey – lining up against a side he knows only too well – alongside fellow half Chad Townsend, who rose to the challenge without the Blues pivot by his side last weekend.
Picking up an ankle injury in the side’s Round 16 win over the Warriors, Ricky Leutele has not been named to play, although going close to making a start at Penrith last weekend. In his place, Gerard Beale will fill the left centre role.
Despite strong showings against the Panthers in the Sharks’ Blues absence last Sunday, Mitch & Nu Brown, Kurt Capewell, Matt McIlwrick and Jesse Sene-Lefao will return to the Newtown Jets setup in Round 19.
