After snapping a two-game losing streak with a victory over the Sea Eagles back in round 11, the NYC Sharks will return rested and refreshed after a weekend off due to the bye when they take on the Bulldogs on Monday afternoon.
The young Sharks maintained their position inside the top eight with the Manly win and currently sit in seventh after seven wins from 11 starts.
There opponents this weekend the Bulldogs have struggled somewhat through the opening 12 rounds of the Holden Cup competition and are 12th on 8 points heading into Monday night’s game.
Sharks coach John Morris has named a relatively unchanged line-up for the Bulldogs match, with Tony Matautia earning a promotion into the starting side, while Eddie Faalua retains his place on the bench after making his NYC debut in the game against Manly.
The Sharks v Bulldogs NYC match is scheduled for a 4.45pm kick-off at ANZ Stadium on Monday.
