The NYC Sharks will be looking to rebound from a last start loss when they host the Brisbane Broncos in a round 9 match up on Sunday.
The Sharks had their chances in a 24-14 loss to the competition-leading Panthers last weekend, holding a four-point advantage with under 15 remaining in the game.
While they didn’t manage to finish the job and get a win over the strong Penrith side the young Sharks lost no admirers after what was a wholehearted effort.
This Sunday the fifth-placed Sharks take on a 10th-placed Broncos team which will travel to Southern Cross Group Stadium on the back of a comprehensive victory over Souths in their previous match.
Sharks coach John Morris has selected the same 17 from the Penrith match, Jesse Savage retaining his place in the starting side, with Tony Matautia again named on the interchange bench.
The NYC match on Sunday is scheduled to get underway at 1.45pm.
