The NYC Sharks were ruthless in beating the Raiders 36-6, while on Monday night the defending NYC premiers the Panthers put the cleaners through the Roosters to the tune of 50-4, setting up an enthralling battle at Southern Cross Group Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Sharks turned in what was easily their most impressive performance of the 2016 season in Canberra last weekend, however they will need to deliver something similar should they hope to claim the points against the competition-leading Panthers.

With no major injury concerns to come from the Raiders game it comes as no surprise that Coach John Morris has named an unchanged Sharks side for the Panthers clash.

With a game in hand after their round three match against Manly was deferred, the Sharks are in third place on the NYC ladder following five wins and one loss, just two points behind the Panthers.

The Sharks v Panthers Holden Cup clash gets underway at 1.45pm on Sunday at Southern Cross Group Stadium.
