Sharks hooker Michael Ennis was outstanding in his teams' win over the Raiders yesterday, earning him the Fox Sports Man of the Match and 3 Points in the Dally M Player of the Year award.
Ennis had a try assist with his perfectly weighted kick for Ben Barba to score, while he also played a major role in tries to Jayson Bukuya and Valentine Holmes. Adding to that Ennis was his typical competitive self in defense, harassing the Raider ball runners at every opportunity and limiting the influence of Canberra's international hooker Josh Hodgson.
Following a swim and stretch at the North Cronulla Surf Club at the Sharks recovery session earlier today, Ennis spoke with Sharks TV about the Canberra match and the upcoming game against the Penrith Panthers.
