After tasting defeat against a rampant Brisbane Broncos outfit in their last start, the Gold Coast Titans will be determined to bounce back against the Sharks this week.

Potentially buoyed by their late victory in Round 4 of 2015 at what is now known a Southern Cross Group Stadium, the Titans are well aware of the threat the Sharks pack offer.

“They had a very tough win against Melbourne at home last time and backed it up with an away win against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown Stadium,” Coach Neil Henry said.

“They’re an experienced side and they have some youth there as well."

After scoring over 30 points in last week’s victory over the Tigers, Henry concedes that the capabilities of the Sharks attack are something for his side to be aware of.

“They have Barba at the back now and he’s been playing at fullback, Valentine Holmes on the wing and Jack Bird on the edges as well, there’s a lot of strong ball carriers in their team.

Henry also highlighted the big names within the Sharks pack who will be looking to trouble his charges.

“Their pack they have Fifita, good experience in Tagataese and Lewis and obviously Gallen was back last week and he came of the bench but I expect him to start this week.

In Gold Coast team news this week, Cameron Cullen will make his NRL at five-eighth for Tyrone Roberts along with naming an extended bench including William Zillman and Eddy Pettybourne.
