In their most impressive performance of the 2016 season the Newtown Jets climbed to third on the Intrust Super Premiership ladder with a 38-14 win over the Wests Tigers.

After a slow start the Jets dominated the remainder of the match, with a number of Sharks contracted players instrumental in the Newtown win.

Amongst the best performed was the Sharks duo of Mitch Brown and David Fifita, with Brown a constant threat from fullback, while David in his first game back after missing two weeks due to illness creating havoc in the middle of the field.

Following the match the pair spoke with Steelesports.com.au from the centre of Henson Park straight after the game.
