The Sharks took to Townsville full of hope in what was week two of the 2015 NRL Finals series, only to be met by a Cowboys onslaught, in front of a parochial home crowd at 1300Smiles Stadium.
Despite the Sharks best efforts, the hosts came out of the blocks firing and couldn't be tracked down - running out eventual 39 points to nil winners to progress through to week three of the finals.
The match was the launch pad for what was the perfect end to the Cowboys' season.
