Utility Ben Barba spoke with the media on Wednesday as he and the Sharks took time out from their training camp in Terrigal.

Now settled in the Sharks mix ahead of his second season at the Club, Barba said he's feeling well prepared and comfortable in himself - and ready to play without fear in 2016.

"After spending the last year here, and now into my second year at the Sharks, it's a great bunch of guys here and I'm really starting to feel settled," Barba said

"I've really enjoyed training this pre-season, and the last couple of games, I'm enjoying my football again, which is the main thing. It's probably showing in the way that I'm playing.

"I'd like to think (I can get the Dally M form of 2012 back), I had no concern back then, I was free-flowing. I'd like to have that no-fear attitude again ... hopefully I can find a bit."

Barba also gave comment on his willingness to play off the bench in 2016, the effects of a reduced interchange count, and the role of Jack Bird in the squad.
