It was 15 year olds mixing with seasoned veterans, going through the same still stations and conditioning drills as the Sharks all trained as one last Friday.

Instigated by NRL Head Coach Shane Flanagan a number of years ago, the pre-Christmas Sharks 'club session' involved the NRL team training alongside the NYC, the Under 18 SG Ball and Under 16 Matthews Cup squads.

An initiative aimed at bringing all grades together, the club all-in session gives the 'younger' Sharks an opportunity to experience the intensity of NRL training while seeing the skills required to play at the highest level.

The NRL squad members embraced the evening session, passing on their knowledge to the young clubmates while going through their paces, with Flanagan, his assistants Steve Price and James Shepherd, along with NYC Coach John Morris in charge of the various skill stations.

Ben Barba was vocal in helping out the full-backs and wingers in a kick-catch drill, while predictably Andrew Fifita was amongst the loudest as he went through a forwards defensive activity with fellow front rowers from the under-16's up.

The club session took place at the Sharks Academy training fields at Cronulla High School last Friday.

Sharks TV was on hand to capture some of the action, with a highlights video now available.
