The Sharks can confirm that their first full-squad hit out for 2016 will be on Sunday, February 14 in a trial match against the Manly Sea Eagles.

Set down for Shark Park and a 5.00pm kick off for the NRL clash, the trial will give Sharks fans an opportunity to see the new recruits such as James Maloney, Jesse Sene-Lafao and Joseph Paulo in action in their first 13-on-13 games in Cronulla colours.

The game will also give coach Shane Flanagan a chance see some of the new combinations in action as the increased depth in the Sharks squad increases the competition for places in the 17-man side for the upcoming season.

The Manly trial comes after the NRL Auckland Nines and before the Sharks second full squad trial scheduled for the following weekend against the Wests Tigers in Campbelltown.

The Sharks will also make a special announcement in relation to the Sea Eagles trial in the coming weeks.

Ticketing information will be available via the Sharks website soon.
