The Cronulla Sharks have been drawn in Pool Piha at the 2016 Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines, a group that will see them take on the Gold Coast Titans, Canberra Raiders and local-rivals the St-George Illawarra Dragons during the round robin section of the tournament.
The Sharks enjoyed a successful run in the 2015 tournament, reaching the Grand Final only to be beaten by South Sydney in extra time.
The team will be hoping to go one better in 2016 as they look to use last year's momentum and experience to launch another successful assault on the popular pre-season event.
