2016 Sharks Memberships will be available for purchase this Saturday from as little as $50. All Sharks Members who purchase before November 30 will gain an entry into the draw to win a brand NEW Holden Cruze thanks to Sutherland Holden.
Proud sponsors of the Cronulla Sharks, Sutherland Holden are partnering with Zambi Wildlife Retreat during the 30 Hour Sale to raise funds with $100 from every car sold being donated to the non-for-profit organisation.
Based in western Sydney, Zambi is a welfare establishment that is a retreat for exotic animals retired from the zoo and entertainment industries. It also operates as a rescue and rehabilitation facility for all species in need, including domestic, farm and native animals.
Sharks back-rower Luke Lewis and his wife Sonia are proud ambassadors of the organisation, and they are urging people to do all they can in supporting the cause.
“Once you go out there and see all the animals you will jump at the chance to help them,” said Luke.
“Luke and I love animals and we are against any form of cruelty to animals,” Sonia said.
“They do such an amazing job and the animals don’t go without anything. We just want to do whatever we can to help them raise awareness and funds.”
Zambi Wildlife Retreat will be holding a Gala Dinne on Friday, November 20 at Le Montage, Lilyfield in the hope of raising funds for their Western Sydney facility.
