New recruit Jesse Sene-Lefao spoke to Sharks TV after the side's first day of pre-season, heading into the 2016 campaign.
Despite coming to the Sharks on his lonesome from the Northern Beaches, JSL saw some familiar faces from his junior playing days in Sydney's West.
"I grew up playing football with Wade Graham, and also Andrew Fifita and Joe Paulo," Sene-Lefao said.
"Coming to the Shire there's a lot of opportunity here for me.
"This Club is on the up, and I'm glad to be a part of it."
