In recognising the 13 Sports and intra-clubs which make up the Sharks Sports Council, the Sharks hosted the annual awards night in the Auditorium of Sharkies Leagues Club last Friday night.
The respective club champions and high achievers were recognised, with Sharks Director Dane Sorenson on hand to present the Steve Rogers Memorial Junior Sports Persons of the Year to the two major award winners in Netballer Lilly Gorman-Brown and Water Polo player Kiara Holden.
Both girls are extremely high achievers in their respective sports, are outstanding representatives of their sports and the local area and were extremely worthy recipients of the major awards.
The night was well attended with all Sharks Intra-Clubs represented.
