A field goal from Sharks winger Valentine Holmes secured a Round 19 Golden Point victory for the Cronulla side, as the then-19-year-old showed composure well beyond his years to slot the all-important point in extra time.

The field-goal was the second of such plays that Holmes carried out in 2015, having done the same to defeat the Titans on the Gold Coast 23 points to 22 in Round 10 of the competition.

Holmes’ play came only moments after the Sharks were denied a last-gasp try in regular time, as prop Andrew Fifita had looked to have scored his second of the match and what would have been the match winner.

In what was a thrilling contest, the Sharks turned around a 2-point deficit with only a handful of minutes to spare, to earn an all-important win in the nation's capital.

But was it the team's best this season? Let us know if you think so in our 'Best of 2015' series poll below!
