Having celebrated his 100th NRL game in winning style last Sunday, Jayson Bukuya fronted the media on Wednesday and was clearly excited about the side's pending trip to Townsville.

Toppling the Cowboys in Round 16 at 1300SMILES Stadium, Bukuya said that he and his Sharks team mates hold no fears of the task at hand - but they can't let the hosts shoot out to an 18-point lead as they did on that night.

"It's always a tough trip going up there, but I think if we start well and put our best foot foward then we should get off to a good start," Bukuya said.

"We've got a lot of self belief here and we're just feeding off that at the moment. It's just a good feeling at the moment."

Bukuya spoke of the sides premiership dreams, and the role and importance of Valentine Holmes in the squad.
