Valentine Holmes returns to Townsville for the second time this season – a place far from Cronulla, but very close to the 20-year-old’s heart.
Born and raised in the parts of far North Queensland, Holmes moved to Sydney in 2013 to make his name known – and he hasn’t looked back since.
The flying winger has enjoyed a sensational season playing outside Kiwi international Gerard Beale, crossing for 16 tries and kicking two match-winning field goals thus far in 2015.
Holmes will oppose another young talent; former Brisbane Bronco and fellow try scoring machine, Antonio Winterstein.
Winterstein has crossed for 15 tries this season (a club best), having broken opposition defensive lines on 10 occasions this season.
Look for the battle of these two wingers to go a long way in deciding the result at the end of the 80 minutes.
