Sharks hooker Michael Ennis was certainly a relieved man upon hearing that despite being charged by the match review committee he would be free to play against the Cowboys on Sunday.

Ennis had been charged with a grade 1 careless high tackle on Souths forward Chris McQueen in the victory at Allianz Stadium yesterday and faced an anxious wait for the match review findings to be released.

The charge against Ennis, with loading calculated fromprevious offences, equated to 127 points, 95 with an early guilty plea.

The Sharks accepted the 95-point penalty and while Ennis will carry-over those points he will be on deck in Townsville this weekend.

Ennis spoke with Sharks TV not longer after given the news, with his interview now playing.
