Sharks vice-captain Wade Graham spoke to the media on Wednesday as he and the side went about preparing for the trip to Allianz Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

After a 'difficult couple of years' at the Club, Graham said that he is full of energy and excitement ahead of the must-win clash with the Rabbitohs at the weekend.

Despite some calls to treat the match as 'just another game', the 24-year-old said that he would be doing no such thing.

"I think you've got to embrace it (the excitement)," he said.

"It's good, it's what you play Rugby League for - to play in the big games. It's so exciting, I can't wait to get out there on Sunday, and to get to play against the defending premiers on a Sunday arvo.

"(Hopefully) we'll be able to play a brand of footy that we can enjoy, and the spectators can enjoy."

Graham also discussed the pending return of the Fifita twins following their time away from the game, and his growing levels of maturity both on and off the field.
