February 1, 2015: The Sharks entered the Auckland 9s decider spurred on by wins against the Roosters and the competition's favourites, the New Zealand Warriors.

After conceding early points, Sosaia Feki brought the Sharks back to within touching distance of the Rabbitohs lead.

And while experienced names like Gallen, Ennis and Lewis missed the tournament, it was the Club's up-and-coming talents that went about making their presence felt.

Jack Bird and Valentine Holmes - two prominent figures in the Sharks 2015 regular season successes and men who hold the key in the side's continued push towards the premiership - combined twice for tries to see the team back to within two points on the stroke of full-time.

With just seconds remaining and down by two points, Holmes stepped up to convert Bird's try - and did - in remarkable fashion.

Re-live memories from the Auckland 9s decider, with highlights now replaying on Sharks TV.
