It wasn't the fairytale finish Michael Gordon was looking for in what was his last game at Remondis Stadium in Sharks colours.

While Gordon again played a leading role for the Sharks in the 14-12 loss to the Sea Eagles, he was left disappointed but far from downcast, with the team now turning its attention to Souths and a sudden-death clash on Sunday.

Gordon spoke to Sharks TV from the teams' recovery session held at North Cronulla surf club this morning and went out of his way to thank fans for their support over the three years he has been at the club.

The Sharks fullback also explained where he thought it all went wrong yesterday and how the team plans to bounce back to their best for the elimination match with the Rabbit on Sunday.

See what Gordon had to say, with his interview now playing on Sharks TV.
