The victory over the Cowboys attracted plenty of headlines, with much written about the Sharks performance and their push for a top four berth come finals time.

In Sharks in the News we provide some of those match reports in case you missed them.

Also this week the Telegraph has suggested that the Sharks might ‘dare to dream’ about their premiership prospects, while betting agencies report there is some ‘smart money’ coming the way of the Sharks.

Also in the lead up to the game there were features on Valentine Holmes, Ben Barba and an article detailing how the Fifita’s apologised to teammates for the indiscretion which will see them unavailable until week one of the finals.

Also in a Sunday Telegraph article, Andrew Fifita has expressed his regret over the incident which has seen him fined and suspended.

In other news, Phil Rothfield has suggested that Michael Ennis is perhaps the pick as hooker in his team of the year, while Fox Sports believe the Sharks handled the ASADA dramas of 2014 much better than their AFL counterparts the Essendon Bombers.

See what they’re writing, what they’re saying, in Sharks in the News for August 11.
