It has been a long and frustrating stint on the sidelines for Anthony Tupou however his wait is over, with the experienced back-rower set to return in Saturday's game against the Warriors.

Injured back in round nine, ironically in a game against the same team he will confront this weekend, Tupou's jaw was smashed when a tackle went wrong on Warriors centre Konrad Hurrell with his unfortunate injury well-documented at the time.

Now back fit and firing, Tupou's will be a welcome addition to coach Shane Flanagan's team ahead of what is another match crucial to their finals aspirations.

Ahead of his comeback game Tupou fronted the media, covering off on a range of topics including the injury and the player who inflicted it, his thoughts on the clash on Saturday and the current status of the Sharks as they begin a run in to what will hopefully be a finals appearance.

See Tupou's press conference from yesterday, now playing on Sharks TV.
