The news is both good and bad for Luke Lewis who limped off the field during the second half of the Sharks win over the Bulldogs.

Lewis injured his knee in the match at Belmore and was sent to Southern Radiology for scans immediately after the game last night.

The good news is scans results have revealed there is no major damage to the knee, however Lewis is still set to be out of action for the next 2-3 weeks.

The loss of Lewis will be a blow to the Sharks for their match against the Warriors, with the experienced back-rower in outstanding form in 2015.

The Sharks reported no other injury concerns from the match on Sunday, while skipper Paul Gallen was cleared of a crusher tackle after being placed on report during the second half of the Bulldogs game and will be available to lead the team in their clash with the Warriors on Saturday.
