Sharks bench forward David Fifita spoke to the media on Wednesday after the side's training session at Remondis Stadium.

With the side having won 4 of its past 5 matches - including victories against premiership heavy weights the Roosters and Cowboys - Fifita said that the confidence in the squad is high, but the team will not be complacent heading into the Raiders challenge.

"There's a great vibe. You can see that when all the boys get to training that we're all in one circle, playing one game ... it's just the little things, everyone putting in and being one team, that's what it is," Fifita said.

"It is going to be tough ... it's always tough going down there, and to face a team like that. Blake Austin, he's on fire down there so we've just got to watch him."

Fifita paid credit to the Sharks' recent run of success and said it's a pleasure to be a part of after an injury-hampered 2014 season, while also making a huge call about Cronulla's chances come finals time.
