For young gun Jack Bird it was a satisfying victory against his old club, especially after the trouncing the Dragons delivered around six weeks ago in the first local derby clash for 2015.
As he is most weeks he was in the thick of the action playing the five eighth role, with the Dragons directing plenty of traffic in his direction throughout the game as Bird was forced to make 30 tackles on the day.
During what has been an outstanding rookie season again Bird handled his responsibilities admirably and made a significant contribution to the Sharks 28-8 win.
Sharks TV caught up with Bird immediately after the game for a brief interview to get his thoughts on what was a much-needed win.
