In one of the most entertaining interviews to appear on Sharks TV, actor/writer/director and fanatical Cronulla fan Brendan Cowell spoke about the upcoming release of his new movie Ruben Guthrie.
A comedy about a binge-drinking advertising salesman looking to beat the booze and win back his girl, Ruben Guthrie is a must-see comedy which will be shown at a special screening next Thursday night (July 16) at Cronulla Cinemas.
Cowell, who wrote and directed the film, will be joined by actors from the movie in taking part in a Q & A session following the special screening.
However during his Sharks TV interview Cowell digressed and talked about much more than his new movie, also revealing an intimate knowledge of his beloved Cronulla Sharks.
Cowell recalled great names from the past while speaking optimistically as a true fan about the potential the club has for the future.
Game day festivities at the local derby match on Sunday will also feature Cowell, where he will look to cheer the Sharks on to an important victory.
