When Sam Tagataese spoke at a presser at the Sharks weekly media session yesterday Johnathan Thurston and controlling the Cowboys playmaker was foremost in his mind.
Fast forward a few hours and the Cowboys omitted Thurston from their team to take on the Sharks, but with his injury not deemed as serious, there is every chance the Queensland five eighth will see be front and centre at 1 300 SMILES Stadium this weekend.
Tagataese was quizzed about the Sharks recent form, as well as the challenges that face his team in Townsville, with his media interview now playing on Sharks TV.
