Ben Barba spoke to the media on Tuesday morning after the side's win at Newcastle last Sunday.

With the Sharks trailing by 10 points with half an hour remaining, Barba was introduced into the Knights contest and had an almost immediate effect on the game.

"I wasn't really expecting when to go on. 'Flano' (Sharks Coach Shane Flanagan) gave me one job, and that was to try and speed the game up a bit, and inject myself," Barba said.

"I just tried to do my job the best I could. Luckily enough we came away with the win."

Barba reflected on his role on the side, his long-term hopes at the Club, and how the Sharks will aim up to take on an in-form Cowboys side in round 16.
