Sharks back-rower Luke Lewis scored his seventh try of the 2015 season against the Knights on Sunday - his most in a single season since playing on the wing for the Panthers a decade ago.

"It worked out great. It felt good running down the sideline again," Lewis joked.

"Fortunately for myself and the team, we got across the line."

Lewis' try sparked a late Sharks revival, and coupled with the injection of Ben Barba, he said the four-pointer spurred on the Cronulla side towards the comeback win.

"It could have went either way, it could have been an eight-point try, but I was happy that the try was awarded and we scored another two tries in the next four minutes," said Lewis.

"It worked out really well."
