Cronulla Sharks and Blues captain Paul Gallen returns to the Origin arena this week having missed the 2015 series opener in Sydney on May 27.
Ahead of the NSW side heading to their Coffs Harbour base, Gallen fronted the media on Tuesday morning to give his take on the series and the influence he stands to have come Game II next Wednesday evening.
"To miss (game one) was pretty tough, but to be back i'm really pleased," Gallen said.
"I've just got to go out there and do my job. My job is simple, i've just got to go forward and play the ball quick, and get through my defence.
"If I can do that to the best of my ability, and so can everyone else, we'll get the win."
