Sharks backrower Luke Lewis gave his thoughts this morning on Cronulla's upcoming game with the Roosters, and the Blues' all important Game II clash with the Maroons in a fortnight's time.

The 31-year-old veteran said he isn't expecting an Origin recall, but if the chance to pull on the Blues jumper was presented once more, that he'd be more than happy to take on the challenge.

"If i get the call up, i'd take it with two hands. But if i don't, I'm not too stressed about it either," said Lewis.

"I love playing for NSW -  I always have. I love playing in the rep arena, but I won't hold my breath on anything."

On a club front, Lewis said the side was preparing well ahead of an all-important 'Members Round' clash with the Roosters.

"We just have to start again (at training) today. Work on our defence, work on our communication around the ruck, and make sure we stop making errors and giving away silly penalties at the wrong end of the field," he said.
