It was a big week of footy, beginning with Origin on Wednesday night in a match which saw Queensland take out game one.

How did your Origin Fantasy team go? There’s a little bit if time between game but start studying the Fantasy stats for game 2!

Most Origin players backed up to play over the weekend while not showing too many signs of fatigue or injury with their performances and Fantasy numbers.

Cowboys and Queensland prop Matt Scott dominated the Fantasy points tally with a massive 105, followed by Knights centre Dane Gagai on 76pts and Warriors playmaker Shaun Johnson who recorded a healthy 74pts.

The local derby between the Sharks and Dragons wasn't what Sharks fans had hoped for however scoring most fantasy points again for the Sharks was Andrew Fifita on 55pts, representing a reasonable effort considering his short turnaround between Origin on Wednesday and the local derby match on Sunday.

Next best for the Sharks was Jack Bird with 45pts, then Michael Ennis on 41pts. The highest Fantasy scorer for the Dragons was Will Mathews on 65pts

Unfortunately for those both the Panthers and for those who had him in their team, Matt Moylan scored only 1pt due to suffering an early injury in the game against Parramatta and reports are he could be out for at least 6 weeks. He is a definite trade out this week.

In true form as soon as you trade someone out for poor form they pick up their game and this was the case with Chris Sandow from the Eels. In trying to redeem himself after a few disappointing weeks the Parramatta half back pulled out a big 61pts Fantasy points for those who stuck with him.

One to look out for is Souths forward Nathan Brown. If he continues to get good game time you could get a bit of a price rise from him in the coming weeks.

We are back to all teams playing in round 13 and hopefully we will be rewarded with good games, no injuries and high fantasy points.

Good luck and remember trade wisely.
