Forced to watch on from the sidelines having been suspended for a dangerous throw, Chris Heighington has spent a bit of time 'off the park' in between training with the NRL squad.
Sporting a keen eye for the local swells, Heighington says he's enjoyed his time living in the Shire having moved from the Wests Tigers in 2013.
"Obviously it's a great part of the world ... on the days off me and Michael Gordon like to go out for a surf - and it's good for active recovery," he said.
"I really enjoy surfing, and getting out in the outdoors."
The interview with Heighington is now playing on Sharks TV.
