A shoulder injury suffered by Ricky Leutele, coupled with Anthony Tupou’s fractured jaw has compounded the Sharks injury woes ahead of their match against the Gold Coast Titans.

Leutele was injured late in the match with the Warriors, while the Tupou injury has been well-documented, with the pair expected to be out of action for extended periods.

For Leutele the early predictions are for a round 13 return, however Tupou is facing a much longer stint on the sidelines, with a period of up to 10 weeks being touted.

The two more recent injuries sees the two Sharks join Sosaia Feki and Paul Gallen in the rehab training group, with the depth of talent at the club now being severely tested.

In a piece of good news on the injury front, David Fifita has been named to make his return to the field this weekend on the Gold Coast after recovering from a fracture in his lower leg.
