Most of the favourites managed to notch victories in the weekend round of matches, with plenty of the stars shining for their various teams.

In their losing effort the Sharks had a few Fantasy standouts, with Andrew Fifita continuing his return to form and posting impressive numbers for those coaches who have the big fella on their teams.

Again in trying to make a little bit of sense of the NRL Fantasy League is the Sharks ‘coaching expert’ Megan Potts, with another of her weekly updates.

Read about who Megan thinks are the must-have players, the players to trade and the highest points-getters from the weekend of matches just decided.

After a week off for the Rep Weekend we were all ready for a big round of NRL Fantasy, with NRL Fantasy making coaches and fans watch the game in a different perspective and you almost need to separate yourself (I know it's hard when your team is playing!!).

Topping the Fantasy points list this week, finding form after a rocky start to the season and backing up a strong performance from the previous round, was Manly’s Daley Cherry- Evans with a point tally of 90.

For the Sharks Andrew Fifita smashed it with 74, the fourth highest score for the round, followed by Wade Graham on 47, Michael Ennis on 44 and Luke Lewis on 43. Sharks fans all saw and unfortunately lived through those final minutes, with the boys unlucky to have the win snatched away in the final minutes.

In other matches the Melbourne Storm’s Billy Slater made his comeback from a shoulder injury, showing he certainly hasn't lost it, scoring two tries in recording 64 Fantasy points, with a relative unknown in young Blake Leary from Manly another to make an impression, putting 63 Fantasy points on the board in his teams’ win over the Knights.

The disappointments for the round were the usually consistent Chris Sandow of the Eels and Pat Richards from the Tigers, with the pair registering just 8 fantasy points each.

It probably goes without saying, if you have Anthony Tupou in your team it’s time to trade him after that nasty injury received in the Warriors game. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear as if he will be back anytime soon.

So today we wait for team lists which are out at 5.00pm, then we can do it all again this week.

Remember Fantasy Coaches, use you trades wisely!
