Junior Roos and Kiwis teams named

Sharks fullback Valentine Holmes has been rewarded for his outstanding recent form by being named in the Junior Kangaroos team to play the NZ Junior Kiwis.

Holmes has been a standout for the Sharks so far this season, with his performances resulting in a positional switch from wing to the fullback role.

Coming up against Holmes next weekend will be Sharks NYC pivot Jamayne Isaako who has been named in an 18-man Junior Kiwi side.

Isaako is currently playing at five eighth for the under-20 Sharks, however he is equally capable of filling centre, wing or fullback roles if required.

The Junior Kangaroos v Junior Kiwis match is scheduled as the curtain raiser to the Pacific Test double-header on Saturday, May 2.

The match will be played at C-Bus Stadium on the Gold Coast.
