The Sharks have worked with the NRL to best honour the ANZAC Day commemorations and respectfully observe them this weekend, with the entire Sharks’ NRL squad and staff to pay their respects by attending ANZAC Day Dawn Services across the Sutherland Shire on Saturday on the eve of their clash with Penrith Panthers.

The Cronulla Sharks play the Panthers in the NRL’s ANZAC Round, which is part of a 10-day Anzac Centenary commemorative program stretching across Round 8 of the NRL Premiership and into the Representative Round.

RSL representatives will be collecting donations at every Round 8 match.

The Club also provided player representatives Fa’amanu Brown and Jacob Gagan to attend the NRL’s special announcement on a formal partnership with the Australian War Memorial in Canberra earlier in the week.

In helping to commemorate the occasion of ANZAC Day, Sharks TV spoke to a number of the players about what the day and the game this weekend means to them.
