Fittingly with the cricket World Cup taking place at various venues around Australia and New Zealand at the present time, Andrew Fifita will notch a ‘ton’ when he runs out to take on the Broncos tomorrow night.

Fifita will play his 100th NRL game (61st for the Cronulla club) this weekend in chalking up a significant milestone in a career which has seen the big front rower already represent NSW and Australia.

The journey for Fifita began back in 2010 while at the Wests Tigers, with Fifita scoring a try on debut against the Roosters in a match he fondly remembers.

Making the 100th game even more special for Fifita and his family, tomorrow night he will be joined by twin brother David who performed strongly in round one and gets another chance to establish himself in the top grade when the Sharks take on the Broncos.

Sharks TV had a quick chat with Andrew following the teams’ final training run and on the eve of his milestone match.

The interview is now playing on Sharks TV.
