Tigers trial details
The Sharks final trial match is against the Tigers at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday, February 21.

In their last hit out of the pre-season, coach Shane Flanagan is expected to field close to a full strength side for at least some periods of the trial, with Michael Ennis set to play his first game in Sharks colours.

It is hoped Andrew Fifita will have overcome his issues related to his injured arm and will also play, while Paul Gallen, Luke Lewis and Ben Barba should also get some game time on the night.

The NRL trial kicks off at 7pm, the NSW Cup trial begins at 5pm, with the NYC getting underway at 3:15pm.

Western Suburbs play the Central Coast in junior rep matches earlier in the day so gates will be open well in advance of the NYC trial for those wanting to get to the game early.

They also administer the NSW State of Origin team and cast their net over a number of rugby league related areas including Welfare and Education, Women’s League, along with Community and Disability programs.

In covering off on things that come under the NSWRL banner, they have produced an impressive E-Magazine, a publication which includes editorial and video content.

Get Well Glenn!!
Earlier today the Sharks put out an invitation for everyone wanting to show some support to Glenn Wheeler, injured in a motor cycle accident last week, to join us at Elouera beach on Saturday. This is just another invitation and gentle reminder to take part in this special event.

The plan is to form a human ‘Get Well’ sign for Glenn, with the event taking place at 7.30am this Saturday, Feb 14.

Three drone cameras will be high in the sky photographing, filming and recording the ‘Get Well Soon’ message, with a large, framed aerial photograph to be presented to the Wheeler family, while those who attend will also have the opportunity to write their own personal messages of support.

In recognition of Glenn’s unwavering support of the Cronulla club over many years, the majority of the players from the NRL, NYC and junior rep teams will be present to help form the human sign.

Everybody in the local area, not only those associated with the Sharks, knows Glenn and the support he gives to the local community and now it is our turn to support him.

Be at Elouera on or before 7.30am, this Saturday and be a part of this special event.
