The best young Touch Footballers from Australia and New Zealand will descend on Remondis Stadium for the 2015 Youth Trans Tasman Test Series to be held from January 16 to 18.

To be contested by Under 18’s and 20’s teams representing Australia and New Zealand, both boys and girls, three games will be played in each division to determine who will be crowned Youth Trans Tasman Champions.

In addition to the serious business of Trans Tasman Youth test matches, a number of community initiatives will be held including the appearance of Sharks NRL players in support of the event, a Touch Football clinic, along with junior and celebrity games.

The Touch Football Clinic, an exciting event for the Cronulla-Sutherland Region, is for participants from 5-12 years old and will be overseen by Touch Football Australia  the NSW Touch Association, the NRL and Cronulla Sharks staff.

It will take place at Remondis Stadium on the morning of Friday, January 16, with those interested invited to register by going to the dedicated link at –  

A payment of $45 is required to complete the registration process, with the cost to cover participation in the event, a Junior Kit featuring a shirt, hat, drink bottle, bag and a number of other items.

There will be a number of special guests also in attendance on the day including current Australian Touch Football representatives and Sharks NRL players.

The clinic will run from approximately 8:30am to 12.00pm.

The following day will see the Celebrity game take place from 2.00pm, before the kick off to the Youth Trans Tasman games at 4.00pm.

Also on Saturday morning will be junior Touch Football games featuring local players from Taren Point Touch and other local affiliates.

The Trans Tasman series concludes Sunday, with entry to Remondis Stadium free for all days of the event.
